Once your order has been placed through the Online Marketing Portfolio (either as an existing item – ex: Just Listed card, or as a custom item through the blue Custom Order button on the portfolio home page) it will feed through to the designer order queue, as well as your My Marketing Projects section in eLMO. You will also receive a confirmation email with your order info.
You’ll notice that it shows a status of “New Order”. That will be the status until the designer adds a proof to the order.
Once the designer sets up your piece and adds the proof to you order, you will receive an email with a link to your proof. Click “View Proof” to open. Notice that the subject line of the email says, “Marketing Order Update”. That is so you can easily spot marketing emails.
When you click “View Proof” you will be taken into the order record where you can open the proof pdf and see any notes your designer left you (if notes are necessary). You’ll also notice that the status has moved to “Proof Out”. This means that the designer has a proof out to you.
Your order can also be viewed in the “Proof Out” tab in “My Marketing Projects”, as well.
If you need changes made to your order, simply add those in the notes box and click Update. You DO NOT need to reply to the email. Adding the notes will send it back to the designer and keep a record of all the notes pertaining to that order. Once the designer makes the changes, the process will begin again – you’ll get an email with the link to the proof, etc.
If you do not need changes made, simply click the Approve box and then Update and your approval will be send back to the designer for completion.
You can see all completed marketing orders under the “Completed” tab in “My Marketing Projects”.
